An Example...
An independent inventor had thought of a household product idea that provided a solution to a problem. He came to us with the hopes of developing it and bringing it to market. We cannot describe the product in detail as we are still under a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the Client, but here is an idea of what we did for him and can do for you.

We researched the problem and the market concerning the proposed product as well as current manufacturing processes and trends. We brainstormed many different ideas for the product and many different forms (this step is called Ideation - or idea generation) based on research and the current market. This step entails sketching and the creation of sketch models.

Communicating continually with the inventor, we researched possible candidates that were marketable, cost-effective, and manufacturable. With the client's constant input we chose a direction best suited to solving the problem, filling the market gap, and fulfilling end-user's requirements.

Settling on a design, we created a working prototype for the client to use in his own marketing efforts. The prototype is necessary for user-testing and presenting to venture capitalists or manufacturers and retailers. Later, for this client, we drew product sketches for the patent application, and the Client is currently waiting to hear back from the US Patent and Trademark Office on being awarded a patent.
